relax. connect. learn.

At Lime Retreats, you will discover new ways to connect with your strengths, change your perspective about your gifts, and become energized to use these gifts to enhance your personal and professional lives -- all while relaxing and connecting with new friends and colleagues in small, intimate settings.

Welcome to LIME.

What if you had a superpower?  Because you just might.

Join me in Houston, Texas, October 16- 18, 2014, for an intimate course in claiming your beautiful Different.

The LimeLight Sessions are all about encouraging you along your own path of self-discovery.  We'll spend two days together, working on journaling prompts, exercises, food for thought and meditations to help us to see and develop and create our own paths forward toward more fulfilling lives.  The exercises will invite you to tap into your inner creative, and invite you to write, journal, doodle and even draw your thoughts, to help provide you more insight into how your spirit ticks.

You'll embark on a journey of self-discovery, with the goal of discovering your own vision and self-purpose. Through focused introspection, you'll move closer to realizing what it will take to inject some happiness into your life.

 During the LimeLight Sessions, we'll:

•  begin a practice of journaling
•  discover our Light Words -- the activities that light us up, and give us insight into what we're wired to do
•  create an inspiration/vision board, to help set our new, more soul-filling course.

We'll be in a private, wonderful studio, sharing awesome food and drink as we connect with each other.  And the best part?  There's no chance of getting lost in the crowd:  only 25 of us will be sharing this safe space together.

Here are the details:

When:  Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th, from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  In addition, on the evening of Thursday, October 16th, I'll host a small get-together so we can get to know each other a little bit before all the fun begins.

Where:  The very awesome Sharespace Studio in downtown Houston, Texas.  This private, funky space (complete with swing!) will be all ours as we spend two days connecting and encouraging each other.

What:  A creative gathering where we'll journal and create art together (and never fear -- no experience is necessary, so the intimidation factor is at a minimum).

Who:  A gathering hosted by Karen Walrond, with only 25 lucky participants -- so be sure to register early!

How much:  US $475 (but there's early-bird pricing of $399 before June 1st!).  This includes the Thursday evening get-together, fully catered lunch both Friday and Saturday (including all the coffee, tea and munchies you could want) -- not to mention the camaraderie of new friends!

Refund policy:  Please note that registration is non-refundable; however, if you find out you can't make it, simply contact me if you'd like to transfer your registration to a friend.

I'm so looking forward to seeing you.  This is going to be a wonderful, intimate time.

Stay tuned to find out when the 2015 LimeLight Sessions will be held!

Coming in from out-of-town?

The LimeLight Sessions will take place at Sharespace Studio in downtown Houston (2201 Preston Street), about 25-30 minutes' drive from either of Houston's major airports, George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) or Hobby (HOU).  Feel free to stay at any hotel in the downtown Houston area.  There are many, but the following six hotels, listed from least expensive to most expensive, are within a 2-3 minute drive (15-20 minute walk) from Sharespace:

"Thank you Karen from the bottom, top and middle of my heart. Life changing moments are generally realized after they have happened ... it just got better and better as we went along. You are an amazing teacher/leader and I am very grateful to have been in your class. With your help, I'm on my way to awesome.
— Jill Finger

"(It's) like you have a magic Xray machine that shows us that we each have our own unique star shining within us, waiting to be uncovered to shine for the world. Many thanks, Karen, for offering this course, for sharing your personal stories and for showing me how to stretch myself farther than I ever would have on my own.
